How to clean your glass peice and Bong

Most professional cannabis enthusiast all know there's nothing more awful than smoking out of a dirty bong or piece...

The taste is not only horrible but it can ruin the overall smoking experience of smoking some good smoke. Many of us who smoke regularly out of bong or pieces know cleaning your bong can become a chore that most smokers put off until the taste of the smoke or smell finally conquers us..

Hopefully this article will aid my fellow smokers and stoners. On how to clean and keep your bong or piece's smelling and looking fresh, using basic household solutions and materials found around the house.

Follow these steps below to began the cleaning process.

Item's you will need:

1. Pipe cleaner
2. A container or bucket to place piece in
3. Paper towel
4. Bottle of 99% rubbing alcohol
5. Epson salt or regular salt
6. Warm/Hot water

Step One:

• Choose the size of your container accordingly. Then add 1/4 cup of warm/hot water to the container.

Step Two:

• Now add about 3 tablespoons of Epson salt or any household salt to the hot/warm water.

Step Three:

• Stir the mixture.

Step Four:

• Now add 1 cup or half bottle of 99% of rubbing alcohol.

Step Five:

• Stir the mixture. 

Step Six:

• Place piece or bong into container filled with solution.

Step Seven:

• Let your piece or bong soak up to 30 min to an hour.

Step Eight:

• Thoroughly rinse piece or bong under warm/hot running water until all remaining solution is thoroughly rinsed out.   

Step Nine:

• Use one piece of Zen pipe cleaner to clean out any left over resin out of your bong/piece's inner stem. (If you don't have any pipe cleaner any small fitting bristle will also work).   

Step Ten:

• Now rinse your piece or bong again then dry with paper towel.

Enjoy your clean piece!

It's good at keeping your bong unplugged with ash or resin after regular use or basic resin build up. This is my process of keeping my bongs and pieces clean.

Cannabis in the 21st century

We know the conversation about cannabis has changed over the past decade, as more health professionals and doctors continue to research and find more medical benefits of medical marijuana. Each year voters are getting closer to the legalization of medicinal marijuana in their states.

After decades of tough crime policies that have cost tax payers a whooping $1 trillion tax dollars over 40 years, and have led to the arrest of over 850,000 Americans for marijuana law violations in 2010/2011 alone, last years 2012 election delt a major blow to America's war on drugs effort. Last years 2012 election the states of Colorado and Washington both passed new historical marijuana legislations, allowing anyone over the age of 21 the right to possess one ounce or less of marijuana for medical or recreational use.

As more people each year join the campaign and effort to legalize cannabis in the United States. More modern day cannabis supporters and marijuana health advocates are turning to popular social media outlets, such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to show their love and support for marijuana legalization.

I think it was only a matter of time until smokers united through the use of social media, to form intrest clubs, social groups, and connect with other members of the cannabis culture. As more and more cannabis smokers and marijuana health advocates use social media platform to share experiences and vital political information, It makes you wonder if the long history of Cannabis prohibition and it's strict policies are finally coming to an end.

The selling or use of Cannabis is still criminalized in various states. Many non-violent pot smokers have been put through America's justice system, in an effort to stop the growing and use of cannabis. I think the more people that come forward and share the health benefits of marijuana, which is “illegal” and harmless versus alcohol, which by the way is “legal” and kills more and more people each year, more states will continue to support the regulated legalization of cannabis.
